INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

It’s hard to be a human sometimes and we may need help to get through it all. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment in which my clients can open up about what is making life hard.

Our work together is focused on you: your experience, your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, and finding ways to reach your goals. I bring my expertise, experience, and empathy to help you find the footing you need to move forward.

GROUP THERAPY

Group therapy provides an opportunity to build comfort with new skills in a safe environment. Whether you’d like to be more comfortable meeting people or need to process experiences you’ve lived through, the power of the group allows you to take steps to a more confident you.

FOCUSES

Trauma

If you’ve lived through something challenging or painful that has deeply affected you and your sense of self, we will work together to reduce the physical and psychological manifestations of that trauma.

Anxiety

If you find yourself going down rabbit holes or thought spirals, struggling to turn off the cascade of worries, seeking safety but never feeling truly safe, we can find ways to live in the present and reduce or release thoughts that are not helpful to you.

Depression

If you feel sad, lonely, hopeless, guilty, and exhausted, it’s important to recognize that depression is making life hard. Let’s work together to find ways to reduce negative thought patterns and take intentional steps towards seeing sunlight again.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder

Intrusive thoughts and compulsions lock you in a cycle you want to get out of but struggle to find way out. If you’re tired of these thoughts and/or compulsions running your life, we can work towards the freedom you’re craving.

Relationships

We tend to feel better when we feel securely attached to friends and family. If life is challenging those attachments, we can work on understanding patterns and addressing conflict to deepen relationships so they are fulfilling and rewarding.

Life Transitions

Change is inevitable, whether we want it or not. Taking the next step in your life can seem daunting and overwhelming, but we can find ways to honor your values while planning for changes, and learn to tolerate the discomfort that can accompany life transitions.
